Love One Another

Description

Love One Another is an album by the American singer and songwriter Don Ferencz, self-released in 1978.

Artful collection of acoustic songs from a guy who sounds a lot like John Fischer. In fact if John had recorded an album with just an acoustic guitar for backing around the time of The Cold Cathedral, it might have sounded something like this. Don’s songs are typically of a quiet nature, ranging from playful strummed melodies to solemn minor-key moods to stirring sensitive ballads to soft melancholy expressions to bluesy whimsical tunes. Simple yet proficient guitar presentation, both strummed and finger-picked, attractive flourishes added here and there. «Prelude To John», «What Do People Think?», «Song Of Jeremiah», «Blind Can See», «David And Nathan», «The Garbage Song», «There’s A Man And A Lamb», «Sleeping Sailor», ten more. Custom record from Baldwinsville, New York. [Ken Scott, The Archivist, 4th edition]
