What a Beautiful Name is a single by the Australian contemporary praise & worship combo Hillsong Worship, released on Hillsong Music on January 6, 2017, as the lead single from their 25th live album, Let There Be Light, an album recorded live during the 2016 Hillsong Conference at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, from 4 July until 7 July 2016, and released on October 14, 2016, under Hillsong Music, Sparrow Records and Capitol CMG (Christian Music Group). The single is a shorter edit of length 3:58 compared to the original album track of length 5:41. Following their No. 1 single, Hillsong Worship also released the six-track What A Beautiful Name EP on March 31, 2017.

The album track “What a Beautiful Name” was written and led by Brooke Ligertwood (née Fraser), and co-written with Ben Fielding. The “genre-smashing single” contributed to Hillsong being named Billboard’s Top Christian Artist of 2017. “What a Beautiful Name” won two Dove Awards for Song of the Year and Worship Song of the Year in 2017. It won the 2018 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.
