Description
Rebel to the Wrong is the fourth studio album by the American singer and songwriter Dennis Agajanian, released on Light Records in 1981. The album was recorded and mixed by Ron Compton at Fanfare Studios in El Cajon, California; with Gerry Limpic of Limpic & Rayburn fame producing. Featuring musicians like Tom Howard on keyboards, Hadley Hockensmith of Koinonia on electric guitar, and backing vocals provided by Kelly Willard and Pam Mark Hall. Also featuring fiddle player Bryon Berline and steel guitarist Jay Dee Maness (who played on The Byrds’ Sweetheart of the Rodeo and Ballad of Easy Rider respectively).
Rebel To The Wrong was included in the Editors’ Choice 1981 list of CCM Magazine, a list featuring 15 albums released during 1981, before the end of November.

The roots of country and gospel music are so closely related that even today in many small country churches the differences are indistinguishable. Dennis Agajanian takes that premise one step further by flavoring contemporary Christian lyrics with a style that may well find several cuts on the country charts.
