Description
Troubled is an album by the Canadian psychedelic rock/garage trio The New Creation, self-released on Alphomega Records in 1970. The album was recorded at Studio 3 in Vancouver, Canada. Written and arranged by the band.
The New Creation features Lorna Towers on lead vocals and rhythm instruments; Chris Towers on guitar, kazoo, and vocals; and Janet Tiessen on drums, percussion, and vocals (with Kathy Towers providing vocals on track A1).
The NEW CREATION is a gospel rock sound from Vancouver, which got its start in November of 1969. The group felt a great lacking in the church music of today in reaching young people, and decided that something should be done about it. The result is the ageless gospel message of JESUS CHRIST set to the new sound of electric guitar and drums. The song material, all the lyrics of which are original, demonstrate the endless power of CHRIST to deliver in every situation. All of the NEW CREATION are Canadians and currently made their homes in Vancouver and Coquitlam, British Columbia. [A note printed on the LP insert]
