Description

Heartbeat is the solo debut album by the Canadian singer Connie Scott, released on Sparrow Records in 1983. The album was recorded by Ron Capone at Westwind Studio in Westlake Village, California; with Larry Muhoberac producing. Mixed by Ken Pennell, Muhoberac, and Capone. The album was digitally recorded, mixed, and mastered. Arranged by Muhoberac who also played piano and synthesizer.

Includes “Just Another Reason” written by David Meece, “By Your Grace” written by Chris Eaton, “Better Than I Know Myself” written by UK songwriters Cooke & MacKenzie, four songs co-written by David Mullins and Martie Echito, “Mighty Light Of Love” written by fellow Canadian artist Geri Baird, a well as the title track co-written by Baird and Connie Scott.

At age 18 Connie Scott became the youngest artist ever signed with Sparrow Records. Recipient of 2006 Gospel Music Association of Canada Lifetime Achievement Award
