New Life by Good News is an album by the British pop group Good News featuring Bill Davidson of Joystrings fame, released inthe UK on BBC Records in 1972. The album was produced by Ralph Rolls, BBC School Radio. Featuring “twelve songs by the Salvation Army group Good News”, composed and arranged by Bill Davidson, recorded for BBC Religious Broadcasts to Schools.
Good News features Bill Davidson on lead vocals guitar and piano, Ellen Schram on vocals and tambourine, Kevin Burton on lead guitar, piano, and vocals, and a rhythms section consisting by Lio Fivaz on bass and vocals and Roger Woodrow on drums and vocals.
