Description

The self-titled, sole album by the Swedish pop/west-coast duo Less Is More (husband-and-wife, singer/songwriter Cenneth Almgren and vocalist Katarina Millton Almgren of Salt fame) was released in the US on Alarma World Records in 1991, a division of Frontline Music Group, distributed by FMG Distribution. (The original Swedish version of the album was released on the Swedish gospel label Cantio Records the previous year, featuring different cover artwork based on the same theme.) The album was recorded by Måns Abrahamsson, Cenneth Almgren, and Katarina Millton at Tuff Studios in Gothenburg, by Jan Ugand at Atlantis Studios in Stockholm, and by Cenneth Almgren at Stable Hill Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden. Mixed by Cenneth Almgren at Stable Hill Studios. Featuring session musicians from both Sweden and Norway. All tracks written by Cenneth Almgren except track 4 featuring music written by Frank Ådahl and track 10 featuring music written by Ketil Saunes.

Featuring Cenneth Almgren and Katarina Millton Almgren on vocals, with Cenneth Almgren also providing keyboards and organ, as well as acoustic and electric guitar. They are backed by a session band featuring core members Eivind Aarseth on guitar; Mats Englund on bass; and Klas Anderhell of Jerusalem fame on drums. Also featuring Thomas Darelid (keyboards on track 1, 4, 8, and 9), Dan Alkenäs (keyboards on track 10), Per Hovensjö (guitar on track 4), Janne Bjerger (trumpet on track 1), and Bo Reimer (sitar on track 10). Programming on track 10 provided by Ketil Saunes.
