Description
A second self-titled album (also known as Tvers 2) by the Norwegian youth choir Tvers, led by Arnold Børud, was released on the Swedish gospel label Pilot in 1976. Vocals recorded by Jan Erik Kongshaug and Svein Engebretsen at Talent Studio in Oslo, Norway; and instrumentation recorded by Boje Lundberg at Europa Film in Stockholm, Sweden; with Jard Samuelson of Samuelsons fame and Arnold Børud producing. Mixed at Talent Studio. Arranged and conducted by Arnold Børud.
Featuring a Swedish session band consisting of Jan Boquist on piano; Knud Jörgensen on Hammond organ; Lasse Wellander on electric guitar; Mike Watson and Rutger Gunnarsson on bass; Joakim Andersson on drums; and Douglas Westlund on congas. As well featuring Arnold Børud on acoustic guitar, piano, organ, Arp synthesizer, and tambourine; Tom Klausen on oboe; with producer Kjell Samuelson providing accordion. Strings by “Lasse Samuelsons brass og strykere” from Hovkapellet, Stockholm.
