The Way of the Wind

Description

The Way of the Wind is the third album by the Norwegian singer and songwriter Solveig Leithaug, independently released on Simple Saints Music in the US in 1995. (The original Norwegian version of the album, entitled Vindens veg, was released on the Norwegian gospel label Master Music the previous year.) The album was recorded by Bernt Austad and Vidar Lunden at Musikkloftet in Oslo, Norway; with Tore W. Aas of Oslo Gospel Choir fame producing. Arranged by Tore W. Aas, Solveig Leithaug, and the band. All songs written by Solveig Leithaug.

Featuring Solveig Leithaug on vocals and acoustic guitar, backed by a session band featuring Bengt Hansen on acoustic piano, keyboards, organ, and accordion, Eivind Aarset on acoustic and electric guitars, Jonny Sjo on bass, and Ottar Nesje on drums and percussion. Background vocals provided by Marian Lisland.
