Wayfaring Stranger – A Spiritual Songbook is an album by the Norwegian singer and songwriter Kristin Asbjørnsen, released on Universal Music Group in 2006. The album features traditional African-American spirituals, from a collection of sheet music donated to the artist by Ruth Reese. The album was produced by Anders Engen and features Kristin Asbjørnsen on lead vocals backed by Jostein Asnes (Lap Steel Guitar, Vocals), Anders Engen (Percussion, Piano), and Jarle Bernhoft (Bass, Guitar, Vocals). (In 2015 Bernhoft actually was Grammy nominated for Best R&B Album.)
