Alt har sin tid

Description

Alt har sin tid is an album by the Norwegian singer and songwriter Kjell Fjalsett of Frisk Luft and Mini-Tvers fame, released on the Norwegian gospel label Lynor in 2007. The album was recorded by Roald Råsberg at Sanden Studio in Kristiansand, Norway; with vocals recorded by Trond Engebretsen at PUK Recording Studios in Gjerlev, Denmark; and was produced by Rolf Løvland and Bjørn Erik Pedersen (tracks 4, 8, and 9). Mixed by Råsberg and Løvland at Sanden Studio.

The album features Kjell Fjalsett’s rendition of the Løvland/Graham-classic “You Raise Me Up”, for the first time recorded with lyrics translated by Løvland into Norwegian. (The music of “You Raise Me Up” was written by Fjalsett’s old friend Rolf Løvland of Secret Garden fame – a Norwegian songwriter, producer, arranger, and keyboardist – with original English lyrics written by Brendan Graham. The original version of “You Raise Me Up” was released by Secret Garden in March 2002. The song has later been covered by more than 100 artists, with Josh Groban’s rendition peaking at No. 1 on the US Adult Contemporary chart, and Westlife’s rendition peaking at No. 1 in the UK Singles Chart.) Also featuring a cover of “Tiden”, a song written by Arnold Børud and Rolf Løvland and originally recorded by Frisk Luft on their 1975-album, Frisk Luft 2.
