Description

Burning Love, a digital-only single, is the first effort by the Norwegian electronic dance music duo Jesus Loves Electro (Casper Cornelius Vasbotten & Ole Jose Norum), independently released in 2013. The single reached No. 1 on the iTunes Electronic Chart in Norway.

If you’re a long-time follower of the Christian EDM scene, you may be puzzled why it’s taken until now to get this 2013 single reviewed and indeed onto our playlist. The reason is, it’s only now that we’ve caught up with this aggregation from Norway. Don’t be put off by their cheesy name, there’s nothing cheesy about «Burning Love», which no doubt will sound good in clubland and on radio. Once you’ve got the song hook “You make me feel alive/ I know the reason why” out of the way, it develops into a crunching, throbbing track interspersed with all kinds of electronic effects, and plenty of vocal fragments.
