Description
Restart is the fourth album by the Norwegian folk-pop duo Garness (sisters Ingelin Reigstad Norheim and Hildegunn Garnes Reigstad), independently released on the Norwegian label Grammofon in February 2025. Most of the album was recorded by Thomas Gallatin of Tôg fame at his Riverside Studio in Kvinesdal, Norway; with Gallatin producing. Mixed by Kai Worley. All song written by Garness, except a few songs featuring lyrics by Christine Sandtorv (tracks 5, 7, 9, 10) and Pål Frøiland (track 8).
Featuring the multi-instrumentalists Ingelin Reigstad Norheim and Hildegunn Garnes Reigstad with producer Thomas Gallatin providing drums (and also playing other instrument). As well featuring guest musicians Torjus Vierli on keyboards, Daniel Ögren on electric guitar, Thomas Engebretsen on bass, and Håkon Aase providing strings.
