Olgas basar

Description

Olgas basar is the debut album by the Norwegian singer and songwriter Bjarte Leithaug with Slep (Jan-Inge Wiig-Andersen, Øyvin Sønnesyn, and Jan Sollesnes), released on the Norwegian gospel label Continental Music Production in 1983. The album was recorded and mixed by Jon Henriksen of Good News fame and Magne “Manniken” Svensen at Sharon Studios in Kvinesdal, Norway; with Henriksen producing. All songs written by Bjarte Leithaug except track B6 featuring lyrics by Johan Lunde.

Featuring Bjarte Leithaug on lead and background vocals as well as guitar, backed by Jan-Inge Wiig-Andersen on keyboards, Torkil Myhre (of Soli Deo fame) on guitars, Øyvin Sønnesyn on bass and background vocals, and Jan Sollesnes on drums, percussion, and background vocals. Background vocals provided by Inger Johanne Haaland.
