Description
Somebody Like You is an album by the American singer, songwriter, and producer Phil Johnson, released on Greentree Records in 1978. The album was recorded by Bob Clark and Travis Turk at Great Circle Sound in Nashville, Tennessee; and was produced by Phil Johnson (with vocals produced by Clark).
Featuring Phil Johnson, Lari Goss, and Shane Keister on keyboards, Joe Huffman and Reggie Young on guitars, Jack Williams on bass, Larrie Londin and Kenny Malone on drums, and Farrell Morris on percussion.
The album track “The Day He Wore My Crown”, written by Phil Johnson, was nominated in the category of Song of the Year at the Gospel Music Association’s 11th Dove Awards, 1980, losing to Don Francisco’s “He’s Alive”.
