Description

American Roots is the sixth studio album by the American singer, songwriter, and blues guitarist Larry Howard, released on Active Arts in 1997. Also released in Europe by Spark Music the following year, distributed by GMI Music Partners. The album was produced, recorded, and mixed by Larry Howard and Ron W. Griffin at Twin Pines Studio in Lebanon, Tennessee; and at Active Arts Studio in Macon, Georgia. All songs written by Larry Howard.

Appearances by Dru Lumbar and Joe Dan Petty of Grinderswitch (actually the last know recording of Petty), Jimmy Nalls of Sea Level, as well as Charlie Daniels. Americana roots style. No Horns, just great acoustic and electric guitars, and B-3 organ.
