Description
Take it for Gift is an album by the American singer and songwriter Joe Wise, released on Fontaine House in 1975, distributed by North American Liturgy Resources. The album was recorded and mixed by Mike Figlio at L.S.I. Sound Studios in Nashville, Tennessee; and was produced by Fontaine House/Music City Workshop. Arranged by John Pell, Dan Creed, and Joe Wise with strings arranged by John Pell. All songs written by Joe Wise.
Featuring lead vocals by Joe Wise backed by Mark Nadlin and Jim Berkeley on piano, Billy Puett on flutes, John Pell, Mike Diebold, and Dan Creed on guitars, Jim Baker on pedal steel guitar, Randy Scruggs on banjo (courtesy of Columbia Records), and Lou Anderson on bass. Singers: Maleita Wise, Maggie Peterson, Buddy Simmons, David Linker, Julie Zoeller, Karen Wise, and Lou Anderson. Strings by Shelly Kurland, Brenton Banks, Marvin Chantry, Sue Sporny, and Tom Potter.
