Description
The Way Things Are is the sole album by the Canadian singer Hope Sterling, released on the Canadian label Image 7 Records in 1988. The album was recorded by Dave Slagter and Gary Tole at Inside Trak Studios in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada; with Roy Salmond of Salmond & Mulder fame producing and arranging. Mixed by Dave Slagter.
Featuring producer Roy Salmond on keyboards, guitar, bass, and drum programming, as well as backing vocals. Also featuring Dane DeViller on guitar and Daryl Bennett on drums and percussion with Miles Hill providing bass on track 7. Additional backing vocals on track 6 provided by Donny Hackett and Gayle Salmond.
