A Light Within

Description

A Light Within is the debut album by the American singer and songwriter Bruce Hibbard, independently released on Seed Records in August 1977, through the Jubilation Group distribution arm of Myrrh Records, a division of Word. The album was produced by Bobby Cotton and Paul Clark. All songs written by Bruce Hibbard except track A1 co-written with Marie Hibbard and track B1 co-written with Carol Morgan.

A Light Within was co-produced by Paul Clark and includes appearances by Hadley Hockensmith, Harlan Rogers, Bill Maxwell, Fletch Wiley and Kelly Willard. Similar sound to Never Turnin’ Back, lighthearted pop-rock numbers alternating with flamingly mellow ballads. [Ken Scott, The Archivist, 4th edition]
