Description
Cross the Border is the solo debut album by the Swedish singer and songwriter Bertil Edin of Edin-Ådahl fame, independently released on the Swedish label Bastun in 1984, manufactured and distributed by Planet Records & Music. Also released in the US on Refuge Records the following year, distributed by The Benson Company. The album was recorded during the rainy summer of 1984 at Edin Music Studio in Gävle, Sweden; with Bertil Edin producing and arranging. All instruments and programming by Bertil Edin, who also wrote all the music. Lyrics written by Sven Eric Dahl except “Don’t Turn Your Back On Me” and “Like A Motion Picture” written by Dan Ådahl.
“Like A Motion Picture” was also recorded by Edin-Ådahl on X-Factor, an album released in the US on Refuge Records in 1984 (which actually was the English version of the band’s 1983 album, Maktfaktor).
