Description
Gospel Concert is a live album by the Swedish singer Carola Häggkvist & Colors of Joybells, released on Darrow Records in 2011, licensed to Naxos Sweden. The album was recorded on February 13, 1994, live at Cirkus in Stockholm, Sweden. This is a gospel concert that was recorded for TV in 1994, but wasn’t released on CD before 2011. Arranged and conducted by Magnus & Anki Spångberg with horns arranged by Per Bejstam. Edited and mastered by Kenneth Skoglund.
Carola is backed by Colors of Joybells: Magnus Spångberg on piano; Lars Ekberg on keyboards and Hammon organ; Olle Junholm on guitar; Stefan Bäcklund on bass; and Peter Damin on drums; with brass provided by Ulf Bejstam on saxophone; Per Bejstam on trumpet; and Anders Evaldsson on trombone. Choir conducted by Anki Spångberg.
