Salmeskatt is a Hymns & Psalms album by the Norwegian gospel group Oslo Gospel Choir, released on the Norwegian independent label Kirkelig Kulturverksted in 2003. The album was recorded between May and September 2003 at Rainbow Studio and Studio Nordraak in Oslo, Norway, and as well at four different Norwegian church buildings; at Kulturkirken Jakob, Uranienborg kirke, and Sofienberg kirke in Oslo, and at Heggen kirke in Buskerud. Mixed at Rainbow Studio. Engineered by Jan Erik Kongshaug, Kjartan Meinseth, Per Espen Ursfjord, Alf Christian Hvidsteen, and George Tanderød. Produced by label head Erik Hillestad in co-operation with choir conductor Tore W. Aas.

The Oslo Gospel Choir was certainly deserving of its honour as the best-selling recording artist in Norway throughout the 1990s. With his popular approach and stylistic impulses from modern American gospel, choir founder and conductor Tore W. In keeping with its tradition, Oslo Gospel Choir and its remarkable soloists take the opportunity to present new songs as well. Three songs by Tore W Aas are premiered here, with new lyrics by Hans Olav Mørk (of Kari Hansa & Gregers Hes fame) and Erik Hillestad.
