Description
Wie ein Baum will ich sein… in Deinem Garten! is and album by the German singer and songwriter Heike Tittmann (a.k.a. Heike Barth, later of Pieces fame), released in Germany on Lord Records in 1978. The album was recorded and mixed by Colin Owen and Paul Robbins at The Old Smithy Recording Studio in Worcestershire, England; with Mike Weller producing and arranging.
Heike Tittmann is backed by a session band consisting of producer Mike Weller on keyboards, Thomas Schmieder on guitar, Alan Spenner on bass, and Trevor Morais on drums, with Mo Birch, Paul Robbins, Trevor Morais, and Mike Weller providing percussion. Backing vocals by Alyson McInness, Mo Birch, Muff Murfin, as well as Heike Tittmann.
The album track “Wie ein Baum” was later included on the multi-artist sampler Music with a Message: Celestial Explorations into German Church Rock, an album released on Tramp Records in 2016.
