Description
Svart på hvitt is an album by the Norwegian singer Elisabeth Ødegård (later of Oslo Gospel Choir fame), released on the Norwegian gospel label Lu-Mi in 1986. The album was recorded at Clan Studio in Halden and at Scanax Studio, Rosenborg Studio, and NTC Studio in Oslo, Norway; with Tore W. Aas of Oslo Gospel Choir fame producing and arranging. Mixed by Bernard Löhr and Tore W. Aas at Soundtrade Studios in Stockholm, Sweden.
Elisabeth Ødegård is backed by a session band featuring a mix of Norwegian and Swedish studio musicians: Jörgen Ingeström (of Sidewalk and Fingerprints fame), Hans T. Zeiner-Henriksen, Kjetil Bjerkestrand, Per Kolstad, and Tore W. Aas on keyboards; Sigurd Køhn on saxophone; Patric Lindell, Svein Dag Hauge, and Eivind Aarset on guitar (with Aarset providing solos); Thomas Axelsson (of Sidewalk and Fingerprints fame) and Rolf Graf on bass; and Christer Axelsson (of Ellen B fame) and Per Hillestad on drums. Backing vocals provided by Håkon Iversen, Kari Gjærum, and Kari Iveland. Track A1 is a duet between Elisabeth Ødegård and Andraé Crouch.
