The Glory of Christmas, sub-titled A Cantata by Jimmy & Carol Owens, Narrated by Efrem Zimbalist, Jr., is an album by the American husband and wife songwriting team Jimmy & Carol Owens, released in the US on Light Records in 1980. Also released by Light Records in the UK, distributed by Word Records. The album was recorded by Hugh Davies at Capitol Records in Hollywood, California; with Bill Cole producing. Arranged by Jimmy Owens and Otis Skillings (tracks A2, A4, A6, B5, and B7). Orchestra contractor: Hy Lesnick; Concert master: Jimmy Getzoff; Vocal contractor: Jerry Whitman.

Soloists: Annie Herring as Mary, Douglas Lawrence as Joseph, Mike Reynolds as Gabriel, Gene Morford as Shepherd No. 1, Jerry Whitman as Shepherd No. 2, Walt Harrah as Shepherd No. 3, Scott Williamson as Boy (track A2), Melissa Mackay as Mother (track A3), as well as Sally Stevens and Mike Redman (track B1).
