Description
Smackaboom! is the sole album by the Australian rock band Scary Cats, released in Australia on Round Records in February 1990, distributed by Alpha & Omega Distributors. Also distributed in the US by Brentwood Music. The album was recorded and mixed by Rob Merlini and Troy Nilson at Springbrook Recording Studios and Nilson Creative Services with Dale Bray and band member Steve McCallum producing.
Featuring Steve McCallum on lead vocals and lead guitar; Corey Pryor and Steve Smith on keyboards; Robert J. Powell on bass; and Duncan Phillips and Gil Rasmussen on drums. Vocals by Nikki De La Haye and Sharon Jackson. (Corey Pryor and Duncan Phillips would later join the Newsboys.)
