Description
“You Will Go Free” – b/w “Impressed” – is a two-sided 7-inch vinyl single by the American singer and songwriter Tonio K., released on the Word imprint What? Records in 1986, distributed by Word (catalogue number 9016816208-DJ). Both tracks were lifted from Tonio K.’s full-length album Romeo Unchained released on What? Records the same year, with the A-side being a shorter edit of the album version. The A-side was written by Tonio K. and was produced and mixed by T-Bone Burnett. The flip-side was written by Tonio K. and Bob Wilson of Seawind fame and was produced by Bob Rose. (“Impressed” was actually first recorded by Charlie Sexton on his 1985 debut album, Pictures for Pleasure, which also includes another track written by Tonio K., “You Don’t Belong Here”, a song also recorded by Tonio K. on Romeo Unchained.)
