Workin’ in the Final Hour

Description

Workin’ in the Final Hour is the major label debut album by the American singer and songwriter Wayne Watson, released on Milk & Honey in 1980. (Watson self-released an album in 1978.) The album was recorded and mixed by Scott Hendricks assisted by Bill Deaton at Glaser Sound Studios in Nashville, Tennessee; with Greg Nelson producing for Primacy Productions. Arranged by Greg Nelson.

Wayne Watson is backed by a session band featuring Alan Steinberger, Buddy Skipper, Mitch Humphries, and Shane Keister on keyboards (with the later also providing synthesizer), Brent Rowan, Joe Wilson, and Michael Noble on guitars, Ernie Collins on bass, and Bob Mater on drums, with Terry McMillan and Billy Wiggins providing percussion and Donnie Sanders sitting in on saxophone. Background vocals by Dennis Wilson, Don Gant, Donna Sheridan, Mitch Humphries, Mike Albrecht, Scott Roley, and Allan Moore (the latter three known as the pop-trio Albrecht, Roley, & Moore)
