ACM Journal 1st Anniversary Compilation is a multi-artist compilation released on ACM Independent in 1990, ACM Journal’s indie imprint.
It’s the first album in a series of three annual releases put together by the ACM Journal, ACM Journal: 2nd Anniversary Compilation and ACM Journal’s 3rd Anniversary Compilation being the second and the last installments, respectively.
This compilation was the first in a series of three annual releases put together by the editors of ACM Journal to introduce up-and-coming alternative Christian bands to a wider audience. This first release included an otherwise unavailable track by L.S.U. called «Industry, Inc.» – which was available only on this compilation CD for several years until it resurfaced in 1995 on the Flying Tart CD ‘Live Long And Perspire‘ and the L.S.U. compilation release ‘Bring It Down Now‘.
