Description

Paint My Life is the sophomore gospel album by the American singer, songwriter, and producer Austin Roberts, released on MCA Songbird in 1981, a short-lived gospel division of MCA Records. The album was recorded by Jimmy Burch, Brown Bannister, and Warren Peterson at Gold Mine Studio in Brentwood, Tennessee; with Chris Christian and Austin Roberts producing. Strings arranged by Bergen White. 8 of the 10 tracks were written or co-written by Austin Roberts. Featuring “It Took A Carpenter (To Tear Down My Walls)”, a song co-written by Roberts, Randy Matthews, and Kim Rose, and also recorded by Matthews on his 1975-album, Eyes to the Sky (an album that actually was produced by Austin Roberts).
