When You Get What You Wanted – b/w “My Face Won’t Come Together” – is a two-sided 7-inch vinyl single by the British alternative pop duo Pietro Dinzee (Angie Routledge and Dave Plotel), released on Priority Records in 1983, distributed by P.R.T. (catalogue number P2). The single was recorded at ICC Studios in Eastbourne, England; with Simon Humphrey producing. Both songs co-written by Angie Routledge and Dave Plotel. A great commentary on materialism.

Vocals by Angie Routledge (of Meet Jesus Music ‎fame) and Dave Plotel (a guitarist who earlier had played on albums by artist such as Mark Williamson, Graham Kendrick, and Dave Pope).

The title track was also included on a multi-artist compilation entitled Curious Collection, released on the UK label Street Tunes in 1983.
