Feel It! New Country

Description

Feel It! New Country is a multi-artist compilation featuring country tracks by mostly American artists, released on the German gospel label Pila Music in 1996.

Pila Music also released other multi-artist compilations in their Feel It! Series like Feel It! Blues, Feel It! 18 Heavenly Soft-Rock Songs, and Feel It! 13 Heavenly Soul-Songs.

Intriguingly, several artists on the Blues compilation also turn up on New Country though in truth Acappella and Steve Grace don’t really belong to either category! Plenty of good tracks from ‘real’ country acts like Ken Holloway and Bruce Carroll while others, like Carolyn Arends and Ashton, Becker & Dente have only a slight country tinge. But like the blues set this is not for purists and if you have only a few of the 21 (yep, 21) tracks here you might want to purchase and find out why country’s hip again.
