Battle of the Heart is the third and final studio album by the American folk-pop duo Wendy & Mary (Wendy Hofheimer & Mary Rice, a.k.a. Wendy Talbot and Mary Hopkins), released on Birdwing Records in 1985, a division of Sparrow Records. The album was recorded and mixed by Ron Capone at Westwind Studio in Westlake Village, California; with Terry Talbot producing. Additional engineering by Terry Talbot. Arranged by Denny Bouchard with additional arranging by Wendy Hofheimer, Mary Rice, and Terry Talbot. All songs written by Wendy (tracks A2, A4, A6, B2, and B3) and Mary (tracks A3, A5, B1, B4, and B5), except the title track written by Terry Talbot.

Featuring Wendy & Mary on acoustic guitars and vocals, backed by Denny Bouchard of Noel Paul Stookey & The Bodyworks Band programming and playing all synthesizers (except the Fairlight which was programmed by Rhett Lawrence), with Abraham Laboriel on bass and Bill Maxwell on drums (a.k.a. the rhythm section of Koinonia).
