Description
The musical Road to the City, sub-titled A Pilgrim’s Journey, is a collaborative project featuring songs co-written by Phil Baggaley of Phil & John fame, Ian Blythe, and Dave Clifton, as well as narration by poet/author Adrian Plass, released on Gold Records in 2001. The album was produced by Neil Costello and Phil Baggaley. Featuring vocals by Mal Pope and Julie Costello.
Road to the City was a follow-up to two previously released musicals by Gold Records, City of Gold: Impressions of Heaven in Poetry & Song (1997) and Shipwrecks & Islands: Touching the Heart of a Broken World (1999).
