If the Truth Were Known… is the third album by the American folk trio The Wedgwood, released on Creative Sound in 1968. The album was recorded at Voice of Prophecy Studios in Thousand Oaks, California; with John Waller producing.

The Wedgwood is Don Vollmer on guitar and vocal; Bob Summerour on guitar, banjo, wood flute, and vocal; and Jerry Hoyle on string bass, harmonica, and vocal.

The album was featured in the Review section of the November 16, 1968 issue of Billboard Magazine, filed under the Folk category and given a 4-star rating, i.e. “albums with sales potential within their category of music and possible chart items.”
