Description
The self-titled debut album by the American folk/pop group The Random Sample was released on Anodyne Recordings in 1971. The album was engineered by Leroy Carroll. The Random Sample was a group closely associated with San Diego Youth for Christ.
The Random Sample features Dave Hopkins on lead vocals and twelve-string guitar, Jann Reynolds, Carol Handley, and Linda Handley on vocals (with Linda Handley also playing recorder), Thom Fuller on banjo, Gerry Limpic on lead guitar and vocals (later of Limpic & Rayburn fame), as well as Ted Limpic on bass, mandolin, and vocals.
