Now the Day is Over is a benefit collection of cover songs recorded by the American alternative folk/pop band The Innocence Mission, released on Badman Recording Co. in November 2004. The one original on the set, Karen Peris’ “My Love Goes With You,” is a lullaby proper and is perhaps the most beautiful and tender song on the outing. Calling them all lullabies would be stretching a little bit, but the presentations are such that they might as well be. “A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this CD will be donated to organizations aiding children in need.”
