Description
Straight Shot is an album by the American singer and songwriter Rob Castles (a.k.a. Rob Cassels), released on Dark Records in 1988, distributed by Spectra Distribution. The album was produced by Rick Sandidge.
Since releasing ‘Kamikaze Christian‘ and ‘Off the Wall‘, South Carolina rocker Rob Castles (formerly Cassels) has been lifting weights, working clubs up and down the East Coast, and toning up his muscular brand of honest rock ‘n’ roll. On ‘Straight Shot’, he returns fire with an explosive round of high-caliber rock extolling love, faith, and the peace of God. Best shots are the blazing opener, «Shoot It Straight», and «Overkill», although «Save Yourself for Love» and «Only Lovers» offer uncompromised views of love and commitment, appealing in their tough sincerity, and definitely on target! [Mark Eischer, CCM, February 1989]
