Quayle

Description

The self-titled album by the American indie rock band Quayle was released on Sublime Records in 1997, a sub-label of Essential Records, manufactured and distributed in the US by Provident Music Distribution. (Under their prior band name Spud Puddle they released one full length on Brainstorm, entitled Linoleum.) The album was recorded and mixed by Craig Nepp at Front Page Recorders in Burbank, California; with Michael Knott, Nepp, and the band producing. (All acoustic guitars and guitars for tracks 6 and 9 recorded at The Green Room in Huntington Beach, California. Vocals for track 8 recorded at For the Record in Orange, California.) All lyrics written by lead singer Nick Garrisi with music written by the band.

Quayle features Nick Garrisi on vocals, guitar, and keyboards (later a member of Fanmail); Javier Hernandez on lead and rhythm guitar; William Coker on bass and backing vocals; and Kevin Pollard on drums and backing vocals.
