The Kiss

Description

The Kiss is the third album by the American contemporary R&B/urban gospel trio Trin-i-tee 5:7, released on B-Rite Music in 2002, a division of Gospo Centric Records, manufactured and distributed in the US by Zomba Recording Corporation.

Being a fan of Trin-I-tee 5:7 since they first formed, I was eagerly waiting to hear this new release and am happy to say that I wasn’t disappointed. The album opens with «Holla», an infectious song guaranteed to have you pressing the repeat button every time it finishes. Track two, «Lord», is a sweet ballad which some might recognise as being a cover of secular soul singer Musiq Soulchild’s «Love». The rest of the album ranges from ballads to funky, get-your-groove-on tunes. Standout songs are «Holla», «Dance Like Sunday», «People Get Ready», «The One For Me» and «All Of My Life». I dare you to get bored of this album – it’s impossible! For fans of Mary Mary, Out Of Eden or Destiny’s Child, this album is indispensable. [Anne Adams, Cross Rhythms, January 2003]
