Dance Like David

Description

Dance Like David is the sole album by the American hip-hop group On Fire, released on Arcade Records in 1991, a short-lived urban dance music label associated with Maranatha! Music, manufactured and distributed by The Benson Company. The album was produced by Scott V. Smith.

The three guys and a lady who make up On Fire have some pretty good rap ideas though some of the programming by Scott V Smith is a little perfunctory. Still the scratching (particularly that by DJ Dave of SFC) is hot while having a female voice doing little interjections, usually on samples, keep the raps interesting.
