Description
Run from the Night is the sophomore album by the American jazz fusion group Omega Sunrise, released on Morada Records in 1985. The album was recorded at Integrity Sound in Fresno, California; with the band producing. Horns arranged by Kim Hutchcroft of Seawind fame. Features “Destiny” by Bob Wilson (Seawind), a song that also was covered by Jim Schmidt on his debut album Somethin’ Right.
The album track “Heartbreaker” was later included on the sampler album AOR Global Sounds, Volume 3 released on Favorite Recordings in 2017, a mainstream compilation series of AOR, West Coast, and Blue-eyed Soul.
