Neon Cross

Description

The self-titled debut album by the American metal band Neon Cross was released on Regency Records in 1988, distributed by Spectra Distribution. The album was recorded by Mike Mierau, Dino Elefante, and Ron Capone at Pakaderm Studios in Los Alamitos, California; with Capone and the band producing. Mixed by Elefante and Mierau at Pakaderm Studios.

Neon Cross features David Raymond Reeves on lead vocals, Don Webster on guitar, and a rhythm section consisting of Ed Ott on bass and Michael Betts on drums. Backing vocals on the album were provided by Bob Carlisle, Cherrie Mancaruso, Donna Rood, and John Elefante.

Remastered by Rob Colwell of Bombworks Sound and re-issued by Girder Records in 2019, as part of the label’s Legends of Rock Series. (Includes the full length album as well as both the California Metal compilation tracks and the 5-song Frontline Life demo from 1987.)
