Welcome to the Real World is the sophomore album by the American pop/rock band Mr. Mister, released on RCA Records in June 1985. The album was recorded between October 1984 and April 1985 by Paul de Villiers and Lois Oki with de Villiers and the band producing. Mixed by Mick Guzauski and Mike Shipley (tracks 3, 5, 6, and 8). Additional engineering by Bill Freesh and Tony Peluso. All songs by Mr. Mister and John Lang.

The album spawned the hit singles “Broken Wings” (No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks in 1985), “Kyrie” (No. 1 on the Hot 100 for two weeks in 1986), and “Is It Love” (No. 8 on the Hot 100). In the first week of March 1986 Welcome to the Real World reached the number one position on the US Billboard 200 album chart. The album was certified Platinum (1 million copies sold) by the RIAA in January 1986. Later Double Platinum certified.

Mr. Mister features Richard Page on lead vocals and bass; Steve George on keyboards and vocals; Steve Farris on guitar; and Pat Mastelotto on drums.
