The Last Battle

Description

The Last Battle is an album by the American singer, songwriter, and blues guitarist Mike Johnson of The Exkursions fame, released on Creative Sound in 1972. The album is actually an abbreviated version of Lord Doctor released on Freedom Light Records earlier the same year, featuring different cover artwork.

The Last Battle is actually an abbreviated version of Lord Doctor, missing one song («Cause And Effect») and shortening another («Pride»). Instead, two gritty rock tunes are included from Creative Sound compilation LPs: the title cut (from Mystery Revealed) and «City City» (from Ultima Thule and Happy And Alive). [Ken Scott, The Archivist, 4th edition]
