Description

Worship is the first album of contemporary worship music by the American singer, songwriter, and keyboardist Michael W. Smith, released by Reunion Records on September 11, 2001. The album was recorded live June 1, 2001 at Carpenter’s Home Church in Lakeland, Florida; with Tom Laune and Michael W. Smith producing. The following year Smith released a follow-up album, entitled Worship Again, as well as a DVD comprising selections from both albums. The album was certified Gold (500,000 copies sold) by the RIAA in December 2001 and Platinum (one million copies sold) in August the following year. June 2010 the album was certified 2xPlatinum.
