Canticle

Description

Canticle is the debut album by the American folk-rock duo Michael & Greta Blanchard, released on Koinonia Records in 1973. The album was recorded by Sheridan Eldridge, assisted by Ralph Mazza, at Aengus Studios in Fayville, Massachusetts; with Edward Young producing for Paraclete Productions. All songs written by Michael Blanchard except tracks A3 and B5.

Featuring Michael and Greta Blanchard on vocals, with Michael also providing guitar, 12-string guitar, and piano; backed by Taylor Amerding on lead guitar and background vocals, and Bob Sgroi on drums. Background vocals on “Three Soldiers” by Barbara Watt.
