New Found Land is the debut album by the American singer and songwriter Matt Auten ( – August 19, 2014), released on Silent Planet Records in 1999. The album was produced by Jerry Read Smith (tracks: 4,8,11,13,14) and David Miner (tracks: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12). Acoustically grounded. Lyrically thoughtful. Spiritually provocative.

With the help of veteran producer David Miner, Matt’s debut recording features acoustic instrumentation and percussion, reminiscent of David Wilcox and Phil Keaggy.
