The Jaws of Life

Description

The Jaws of Life is the third full-length album by the American indie-pop band Fine China, released on Common Wall Media in April 2005. The album was recorded September-October 2004 by Bob Hoag at Flying Blanket Recording in Mesa, Arizona; with Hoag and the band producing. All songs written by guitarist/vocalist Rob Withem.

Fine China features Rob Withem on guitar, keyboards, and vocals, Josh Dooley (of Map fame) on guitar, Greg Markov on bass, and Thom Walsh on drums. Producer Bob Hoag provides additional keyboards, percussion, and vocals.

In 2008, Fince China guitarist/vocalist Rob Withem did release Stop Heartbeat under the The Foxglove Hunt moniker, a collaborative album recorded together with Ronnie Martin of Joy Electric fame.

The vinyl LP is a collabroative effort between 4 entities who were instrumental in the bands history: Velvet Blue Music / Common Wall Media / Plastiq Music / President Gator. Came with a download card which included a brand new, freshly recorded Fine China track and a remix of “Are You On Drugs” by Soda Shop.
