Are You Ready?

Description

Are You Ready? is the fourth album by the American singer, songwriter, and keyboardist David Meece, released on Myrrh Records in 1980, a division of Word. The album was produced by Brown Bannister.

Are You Ready? is Meece’s third album, and fortunately this time around he uses his three octave range for something other than imitation BeeGees falsettos. The music again falls mostly in the top 40/pop category but has less bubblegum taste than his previous effort. Meece shines not only as a singer but also as a songwriter; Brown Bannister’s production is impeccable. (Best cuts: «Follow You», «Gospel Train», «Love One Another», «Are You Ready?» or «Just A Little More Time») [CCM, September 1980]
